I am usually very understanding when it comes to friends. But once I feel like a “friend” is ditching me, why would I not return the favor?
Being busy is part of my everyday life as an employee and a working student. I have tons of cases and books to read everyday but they never stopped me from hanging out or being friends with my buddies. Because they are important to me and with them I find a release from the stressful to-do’s that I have.
Thus, I find it very annoying to feel dumped and ditched just because someone is “busy”. A fifteen minute snack or an hour of lunch (which by the way we are all entitled to) won’t hurt a busy schedule but reasoning out work just to avoid us did strain our friendship.
From now on, I am to spend my break times reading and doing stuff that I should be busy with instead of spending it with people who are too busy to eat with me.
